Paolo is an Italian neighbour in Monica's building, who Rachel falls for in "The One with the Blackout". They start dating, making Ross jealous. She dumps him after he gropes Phoebe in "The One with the Dozen Lasagnas" but has a last one-night stand with him in "The One with Ross's New Girlfriend".
